Facial Filler Injection, are materials applied to the face with intent to eliminate wrinkles and loss of volume caused by aging, and to provide a younger and more vibrant facial appearance.

What Are Fillers

Many companies offer a variety of fillers. In recent years, we can also see herbal fillers.

Among them, “hyaluronic acid” is the most commonly used and the least allergic one. Besides that, there are also facial filler injection containing calcium hydroxyapatite and polylactic acid.

Results of fillers can have temporary or permanent. Mostly temporary fillers are used for the face. The duration of their effects varies between 6 and 24 months, depending on their contents. Hyaluronic acid, the most commonly used filler, can maintain its effect for 12 to 16 months on average. There are also fillers, which remain effective for a period of almost 2 years.

Where Is It Applied?

The cheekbones, lips, cheeks and under-eye region are the most common application areas. It can also be used to improve the grooves extending down from the outer edges of the nose (nasolabial lines), to reduce the lines around the mouth, and to remove the facial scars.

How Id It Applied?

Although it is not considerably painful, anesthetic creams can be applied to the application area 15-20 minutes before the procedure. When applied by experienced hands, the risk of bruise is close to zero.

Applying gels that contain ice particles after the application both relieves the pain and eliminates the risk of edema. The procedure takes 15 to 20 minutes. After the procedure, the person can return to his/her work. It is possible to see its effect immediately. Fillers can be applied to different depths (superficial or deep) depending on the region and content.

The filler can be applied in conjunction with other facial rejuvenation procedures. It is most often applied in conjunction with Botox, and such combined uses have no drawbacks. In general, it would be more appropriate to apply Botox first and then filler after 1 week.

Filler injection is a procedure intended to reshape the face. It is performed usually after making an instant decision during consultations with the patient.

When performed by the right hands and with the right aesthetic vision, very natural and beautiful results can be achieved in a very short time.
